The mutual cooperation has been established between the State Museum of Nature of Uzbekistan and the State Museum of History and Culture of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
On February 12 of this year, a meeting was held with representatives of the State Museum of Nature of Uzbekistan and the State Museum of History and Culture of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. At the meeting, a memorandum of mutual cooperation was signed between the State Museum of Nature of Uzbekistan and the State Museum of History and Culture of the Republic of Karakalpakstan in order to establish bilateral cooperation.
Within the framework of the memorandum, issues of organizing joint exhibitions between museums, exchanging museum exhibits, conducting scientific research and cooperation to improve the skills of museum staff were discussed. This cooperation will serve to further enhance the scientific and cultural potential of museums, to introduce the public to the richness of nature and culture of Uzbekistan.
After the negotiations, an interesting tour of the State Museum of Nature of Uzbekistan was organized for the guests. During the tour, the delegation members got acquainted with the unique exhibits of the museum, including the remains of ancient animals that lived on the territory of Uzbekistan, minerals, plants and samples of wildlife.
