If you have used or expired batteries, you can contribute to protecting nature by visiting the State Museum of Nature of Uzbekistan and placing them in a special collection container.
Today, among environmental issues, battery waste requires particular attention, as batteries contain toxic substances such as mercury, lead, and cadmium. When disposed of improperly, these substances contaminate soil and water resources, posing a serious threat to the health of both humans and animals.
Therefore, used batteries should not be thrown away with regular household waste. Instead, collect them and take part in the new batareyka.uz project launched in our country to ensure their safe and proper disposal.
